Cosmo finance Application
Cosmo is a personal finance application that connects all your banking needs. It tracks spending, creates budgets, and makes it easy to manage receipts. For this project, I designed Cosmo's logo, app interface, and high-quality prototype. Scroll down to view the final prototype!

Logo Ideation
This logo design represents Cosmo, a new personal finance application. To create this brand, I wanted to design a logo that combined the "C" of Cosmo and some aspect of outer space. I used positive space, negative space, and closure to suggest the planet's shape within the "C." I also lowered the opacity of the planet's outline just so one concept did not overpower the other.
Paper Prototypes
For the Cosmo app design, I started off sketching low-quality prototypes and planning the overall navigation. As a banking app, Cosmo's navigation is vital to the users' experience. So, a large portion of this project was research and user testing.
Detailed Prototypes
Then, I began prototyping the app in Adobe XD. These are detailed interface examples including potential navigation options and color schemes. I decided to use orange, dark blue, and violet for Cosmo's interface.
User Research and Observation
Once I finished designing a fully functional prototype of the app, I began conducting user research and received initial feedback from each user. This stage of the design process was significantly beneficial to the final Cosmo application design.
FINAL PROTOTYPE
Based on the user feedback, I was able to make many improvements! Some of these include implementing animations, adding custom icons, and expanding the navigation options.
